Since as far back as I can remember I have wanted to live abroad. There is some sort of bug itching under my skin that wants me to see how people live on the opposite side of the world. So I am leaving to live in Valparaíso, Chile for an academic year where I will be studying social work and spanish language at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. I leave in a few weeks and I am finally beginning to feel anxious. Not only have I never traveled alone, I have also never lived in a place where I don’t know anyone. I get to the opportunity to carve out my own life in a foreign culture while learning a second language. Thank you all for your support and for following my blog during my adventure.
